This AWESOME Joey palm is currently growing in a 7 gal pot and it 4'10" tall with beautiful dark green diamond shaped leaves that are each around 3 ft long. This palm is highly desired for its striking and unique beauty!
Joey Palm Trees can grow up to 10 – 20 ft tall and 10 - 15 ft wide! This medium sized, trunkless palm with large, simple, undivided leaves that can be up to 6m in length, coming directly from an underground root-stock. These large, leathery, diamond-shaped leaves are pleated along their length, and have serrated edges.
PLANT INFO: This plant prefers the shade and a slightly acidic soil, it enjoys high humidity and to be out of the wind. Best outdoors if grown in zone 10a-11. In the northern end of their grow zone Joey Palms should be brought indoors or protected during the winter months. The patio zone is 4b-11 which means the potted plant will flourish over the summer months in colder zones but must be brought inside before winter.
PLANTS ARE NOT PERFECT! While we try our best to keep all of our plants looking happy and healthy, there are some things that I can not control (small burn, or hole in a leaf for example). All of my plants are gown outside in my backyard on our beautiful little island. My two toddlers, my husband and I take great pride in caring for our little garden.
